Balloon Softbox with light control skirt
The quick-opening ball softbox is an almost round light shaper with an integrated light control skirt, which allows excellent control over the direction of the soft light. Available in 100 or 120 centimeter diameters, the balloon softbox provides ideally distributed ambient light in all directions, which is perfect for indoor shots.
Via the Bowens S-type bayonet, the light shaper can be used with studio flashes and LED continuous lights, such as the popular Soluna LED continuous lights from Rollei and other products with a corresponding connection. Due to its simple construction, the ball-shaped softbox can be set up quickly and easily, making it ready for immediate use in the studio or on location. Simply press the balloon softbox into shape and hook it. It is just as easy to dismantle and store after use.
Light control skirt for more flexibility in light design
Since the balloon softbox produces very soft light, it is often used in videography or for illuminating rooms or scenes. The included light control skirt offers even more flexibility in light design. Thanks to the more precise control of the light direction, the softbox with the attached divisible skirt is also ideal for product or portrait photography. The 12-sided strut construction also creates an almost round softbox shape, which is particularly noticeable in natural-looking, round light reflections in a model's eyes.
Stable, robust and versatile in everyday use
The Rollei balloon softbox, available in 100 or 120 centimeter diameters, convinces despite its size with a stable and robust construction that has ventilation flaps on the back to prevent heat build-up. For protection when not in use or for transport to off-site shoots, simply fold the light shaper and store it in the included carrying bag.
