F:X Pro Circular UV Filter

The UV filter of the "F:X Pro" series is an extremely practical screw-on lens attachment that primarily ensures that the ultraviolet component in sunlight is specifically blocked and does not lead to unwanted color distortions.
UV light is invisible to human eyes and can easily interfere with image sharpness – it can be very problematic, especially with strong magnifications of details.

In addition, a UV filter also has mechanical advantages – due to its otherwise very image-neutral properties, it can remain permanently on the lens (even when shooting without daylight) and thus protects the expensive optics from damage.

Precisely because most camera sensors nowadays block UV light ex-works, the inexpensive additional protection for expensive lenses is a particularly efficient application area for today's UV filters. And thanks to Gorilla® Glass and dirt-repellent multi-coating, Rollei's UV filters have been optimized precisely for this purpose.

We've also applied our Luminance Coating, giving them a reflection-free rating of 99.5 percent. This guarantees you razor-sharp images – even with "high-end" cameras with 150 MP. The color fidelity is exemplary, meaning you can capture your surroundings exactly as you saw them.

Our filters are made extremely durable with Gorilla® Glass. Its special manufacturing process makes it particularly resistant while also providing high light transmission and color neutrality. Our anti-scratch layer makes dirt easy to remove and also gives the glass its special hardness. But it's not only scratch- and break-resistant – it's also temperature-resistant.
